I love stepping into a new season because it means: new beauty launches + new beauty trends. Most of the make-up trends this spring I had already seen coming but there are still a few trends that are unique and I wasn’t expecting. What better way to stay up to date with the latest beauty (& fashion) trends other than watching runway shows? Each designer of course has their own style and creates their own trends but these are the most popular beauty trends you’ll see next season.
This spring we’re going to see flowers implemented in many beauty and fashion looks (a la Beyonce’s pregnancy photos). The 70’s beauty trends are making a huge comeback this year and what better way to create a 70’s/hippies vibe other than using flowers? The Dior beauty trends in particular are very romantic, soft and lots of pastel featured in looks. I also still really love the sequins and confetti used in make-up looks, especially around the eyes.

Other than sequins and confetti, glitter is also being used a lot in eye make-up looks. Whether you wear it on your lid, brow bone or lower lash line, it’s all possible this season.

Disco vibes and colorful glitter eye make-up was also featured during fashion week. I can already imagine many girls going for this look during Coachella, it’s the perfect festival look.

Girls, you better start flaunting and embracing your natural hair because this season it’s all about you! Frizzy, big curly manes are THE go-to hairstyle this Spring/Summer, whether you have a short afro, wavy curls, tight curls, as long as it’s in the natural texture.

Move over flash tattoos, this season its all about the floral body art.

Who knew pastel hues would look this good for an eye make-up look? This season, pastel lids are the go-to look.
Designer: Jill Stuart
Remember when we only used to wear eyeshadow colors that go well with out own eye color? Well, those days are over! Orange eyeshadow isn’t meant for blue eyed people only, anyone can rock a bright orange look now despite your complexion or eye color.
